Holmes was the leader in snaps among receivers against the San Diego Chargers in Week 11. That did not translate to production with just two catches for 19 yards. He also went without a catch in Week 10 against the Denver Broncos.
The Chiefs are the 11th-worst matchup for fantasy receivers, and they are also a tough test for quarterback Derek Carr. They rank third in sacks and have allowed the fewest passing yards in the NFL this season.
Fantasy impact: If you want to cut Holmes before Thursday, it makes a lot of sense. Although, he has a couple of nice matchups on the horizon. To be clear, there’s no way we can suggest playing him this week.
