Houston Texans running backs Arian Foster and Alfred Blue will likely split carries if the former is active Sunday, according to Brian Smith of the Houston Chronicle. Foster is dealing with a groin injury, but returned to practice Wednesday and is considered day-to-day. Foster missed Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns due to the injury.
Alfred Blue could share carries with Arian Foster in Week 12; fantasy value questionable
Alfred Blue and Arian Foster will likely share carries if the latter can play Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Blue filled in as the starter for that game, and the rookie had his best game yet. He carried the ball 36 times for 156 yards, helping the Texans to a 23-7 win over the Browns. He's got 104 carries for 390 yards on the season, but hasn't found the end zone once. Foster, on the other hand, is third in the NFL with 822 rushing yards (he was passed by Le'Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers while inactive for Week 11).
Fantasy Impact: Foster sharing carries with Blue will likely be more due to the fact that he'll need to be eased back into it than anything else. While a split seems likely for Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals, smart money is on the Texans abandoning that strategy the second Foster is running like his old self.
