Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is a lightning rod for conversation. One week, he has a laser-rocket arm and is an MVP candidate and other weeks he's barely a quarterback worthy of playing in the Canadian Football League. Last week, he was the former with 330 passing yards and three scores against the Minnesota Vikings.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 12: Jay Cutler
Jay Cutler’s awful game against the Packers is behind him. Should fantasy owners have confidence in him?

He gets another great matchup this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Solider Field. The Bucs are the fifth-easiest matchup to quarterbacks and they have been particularly bad against wide receivers, which bodes well for Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall. The Bears have most of their weapons close to 100 percent and Marshall was at least able to go through some portions of practice this week with his gimpy ankle.
Fantasy impact: He’s at home, has a good matchup and all signs point to a big game. Sure there is risk, but there’s always risk in fantasy football. Start Cutler as a top-six play this week.
