Despite missing three straight games with hip and collarbone injuries, Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard is listed as probable on the team's injury report for Week 12.
Giovani Bernard injury update: Bengals RB good to go, but difficult for fantasy owners to trust
The Bengals will get their starting running back into action once again this week, although his workload remains a mystery. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bernard practiced at full capacity for all three days of team practice and is expected to get his first game action in weeks.
Fantasy Spin: Though Bernard is slated to play, it's anyone's guess as to what his workload will be. Jeremy Hill has thrived in Bernard's absence, averaging 5.7 yards per carry over his last three games. We could see a shift in the workload that favors Hill in early-down and goal-line situations, while Bernard could be more of a specialist in passing downs.
Though Bernard hasn’t played poorly, it’s difficult to envision the Bengals wouldn’t have had a plan to lean on Hill eventually, after spending a second-round pick on him in the draft this spring. With that said, Bernard owners still may not have a choice but to start him this week given the dearth of running back options across the board, although contingency plans must be explored.
