Indianapolis Colts tight end Dwayne Allen has been ruled out for his team's matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday.
Dwayne Allen injury update: Colts TE ruled out, fantasy owners left to scrounge waivers
The Colts will be without their starting tight end this week for their divisional showdown with the Jaguars. We break down the fantasy implications:

Allen sustained a high-ankle sprain against the New England Patriots and was subsequently held out of practice for the entire week. High-ankle sprains typically take multiple weeks to heal, and it has thus paved the way for Coby Fleener to take the bulk of Allen's usual workload.
Fantasy Spin: The tight end position has been a fantasy wasteland for the majority of fantasy owners this season, and Allen's absence only makes things worse. Fantasy owners must have their contingency plan in order for this week, and hopefully got their hands on Fleener, Jacob Tamme or Niles Paul, if they were available on the waiver wire. Whichever option owners get, they will have to put the idea into their heads that they may need it for more than just Week 12.
