Update: Arian Foster will not be playing in Sunday’s game according to the Houston Chronicle’s John McClain.
Arian Foster injury update: Texans RB is out, Alfred Blue will be next man up for fantasy owners
Arian Foster could be sitting out for a second straight week. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Arian Foster is definitely out.
— John McClain (@McClain_on_NFL) November 23, 2014 The Houston Texans may face the Cincinnati Bengals without running back Arian Foster. If he can't suit up, Foster will miss his second straight week as he deals with a groin injury. Many thought Foster would return Sunday. As the week progressed, it became clear he was worse off than previously thought. Foster didn't practice all week as he nursed his injury. If Foster doesn't play, Alfred Blue will take over backfield duties once again. Blue is coming off a career-high 156 yards on 36 carries.
Fantasy impact: It’s a disappointing development for fantasy owners. Not only is Foster a big fantasy producer, but the Bengals have been allowing a lot of points to opposing running backs. However, if Foster plays, he should be started. The Texans will likely rely heavily on Foster as long as he’s on the field. If he can’t play, Alfred Blue will be locked in as a RB2 with plenty of upside. He doesn’t seem to get involved in the receiving game as much as Foster, but he’s sure to have a heavy workload on the ground.
