Coming into Week 12, only 14 tight ends had four or more touchdowns on the season. Of those 14, Daniel Fells had the fewest catches, at 10. The next fewest was New England Patriots tight end Tim Wright, with 18. And Wright improved on his numbers Sunday, with two more touchdowns as the Patriots beat the Detroit Lions, 34-9.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 13: Tim Wright scores twice
No one is scoring on a higher percentage of receptions than the New England tight end. We break down the fantasy implications.

Wright caught five passes on six targets Sunday for 36 yards. He scored a touchdown in each of the first two quarters in New England’s win. The game brings Wright into a tie for sixth place among tight ends in touchdowns despite only 23 catches on the season.
Fantasy impact: The advice on Wright has been the same for weeks: He has a zero-point floor, and he’s hit it four different times this season. Of course, with so many tight ends struggling this year, an alarming number of tight ends have a pretty apparent zero-point floor. The difference is, of all those tight ends, Wright is easily the one with the best chance at a touchdown, as he’s scored on more than a quarter of his receptions this year.
Wright isn't a top-10 tight end, but once you're past those guys and looking at the Jared Cook/Jace Amaro types, Wright's upside makes him a better play despite fewer targets.
