Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson says he was still "under the weather" on Sunday, which is why he didn't get the start, according to Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star. It's an interesting situation, given that Richardson wound up with 13 carries on the day, the most of any Colts running back. If he wasn't feeling well, he probably wouldn't have carried the ball that many times.
Trent Richardson expects to start in Week 13; fantasy value very low
Trent Richardson says he didn’t start in Week 12 because he was still under the weather. We break down the fantasy implications.

Whatever the case, the report suggests Richardson will be starting Indianapolis' next game. That may or may not be a good thing, given that Dan Herron is outplaying him at this point. Herron had 12 carries for 65 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars, while Richardson carried the ball 13 times for 42 yards. Richardson has 127 carries on the season for 433 yards, good for a paltry 3.4 yards per carry. Herron has 34 carries for 139 yards, a per-carry average of 4.1 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Richardson is not a good fantasy player and it seems unlikely that he’ll get the start in the next game, regardless of the report. If he does, he still shouldn’t get much more playing time than Herron, if at all. Whatever the case, it’s hard to recommend either as a fantasy option at this point.
