Mallett played the entire game on Sunday against the Bengals, and had a much, much worse game than his debut against the Cleveland Browns the week before. Mallett completed 66.7 percent of his passes with two touchdowns and an interception against the Browns, but completed just 46.7 percent of his passes against the Bengals with no touchdowns and an interception.
Fantasy Impact: It’s a tough break for Mallett, who was given his first career starting opportunity against the Browns. He was looking solid before the injury as well. Whatever the case, any fantasy owners who scooped him up for some late-season value will have to cut bait, as he has an uncertain future. The Texans are in the same boat -- it’s unclear who will start for them next week.
