Indianapolis Colts running back Dan Herron will continue to start as the team gets ready to take on Washington in Week 13, according to Colts beat writer Mike Wells. Herron carried the ball 12 times for 65 yards in Indianapolis' Week 12 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Dan Herron likely to start Sunday, fantasy value gets an uptick
The Colts should have a fresh face starting at running back in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Gaining 65 yards on 12 carries is a healthy average of 5.4, so although Herron’s sample size is limited, his potential starting status is good news for fantasy owners who picked him up off of the waiver wire.
One important thing to note here is that coach Chuck Pagano has yet to confirm that Herron is starting. But although Herron's status as the starter is mostly attached to the opinions of people outside the organization, it would be hard to imagine any scenario in which Trent Richardson starts. When Richardson was acquired from the Cleveland Browns last year, it was thought that he would be revitalized by a change of scenery, but that simply hasn't happened.
Fantasy owners should be ready to start Herron on Sunday.
