Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was held out of practice on Wednesday. Fitzgerald is recovering from a sprained MCL and is unlikely to make his return against the Atlanta Falcons.
Larry Fitzgerald misses practice again, fantasy status not looking good
Larry Fitzgerald is still not practicing after spraining his MCL in Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fitzgerald suffered the injury in Week 11 and did not play in Arizona's Week 12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The injury snapped his consecutive games played streak at 110. Fitzgerald has 46 catches for 658 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games this season. Michael Floyd and John Brown would be the starting receivers if Fitzgerald can't go.
Fantasy impact: We’ll know more about Fitzgerald’s status later in the week and the Cardinals remain optimistic about his return, but the knee hasn’t responded to treatment like they were hoping. Settling in as a possession receiver at age 31, Fitzgerald has just two games with more than 100 receiving yards this season. Assuming he’ll return in Week 14, Fitzgerald will be a WR3 for the fantasy playoffs.
