Indianapolis Colts tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday, according to Colts beat writer Mike Chappell. Allen did not play against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week, marking the second game in a row he was unable to go.
Dwayne Allen sits out practice Wednesday, fantasy status day-to-day
The Colts tight end could possibly miss his third straight game in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: There’s a good chance fantasy owners jumped at the opportunity to pick up Coby Fleener off of the waiver wire last week. He hardly produced anything, though, ostensibly because the Colts were using him more often in a blocking role. That said, the Colts’ Week 13 matchup against Washington isn’t exactly a scary one, so if Allen continues to miss practice and is ruled out for the game then Fleener is a good bet to produce a bit more.
Whenever Allen does get back into the lineup, he will be more likely than Fleener to produce, but for now fantasy owners will have to hang tight and see what the practice reports say on Thursday.
