Chargers-Ravens fantasy projections, Week 13: Steve Smith, Justin Forsett, Ryan Mathews among names to watch
We break down the Week 13 matchup between the San Diego Chargers and the Baltimore Ravens.

San Diego Chargers
Running back Ryan Mathews posted his first 100-yard rushing game of the season last week against the St. Louis Rams. He did it on just 12 carries. It looked like the team might be easing him back into action but now that he's had a good game under his belt, it wouldn't be surprising to see his volume increase a little bit in Week 13. That said, Mathews will be facing a defense that is pretty solid against opposing running games, so if he finds the end zone for the second straight week or climbs over the 100-yard plateau, he will definitely have to earn it this time around.
Regardless of whether or not he has a big game statistically, Mathews' return to full strength definitely benefits quarterback Philip Rivers. After looking like an early season MVP candidate, Rivers has just two touchdowns and four interceptions in the last three weeks combined and has been held under 200 yards passing twice during that same span. He will no doubt need to be better if his fantasy owners are to secure a playoff spot this week or have any chance of taking home a championship when all is said and done.
Baltimore Ravens
After struggling to run the ball all year long, the Ravens have found the man that is going to take care of that problem. Justin Forsett has 294 rushing yards over his last two games to go with four touchdowns. It goes without saying that the Ravens won both of those games and although San Diego poses a bit of a tougher matchup than Baltimore has faced recently, fantasy owners would be hard-pressed to find a sign of slowing down, especially with nobody else really challenging him for carries. Forsett isn't always going to flirt with 200 yards in a game, but that doesn't mean he's not in for a good week for the third straight time.
One player aside from Forsett who also may be in for a big day is wide receiver Steve Smith. Smith finally had a big game last week, catching four passes for 89 yards and a touchdown against the Saints after being held under 70 receiving yards and without a touchdown for the previous four games. There's no doubt he's had a resurgent season so far this year and fantasy owners can only hope it continues against the Chargers on Sunday.
