Peyton Manning, Jamaal Charles, C.J. Anderson look to have big fantasy performances for Broncos, Chiefs
We break down the Week 13 matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Denver Broncos
Don't look now but the Denver Broncos have yet another offensive weapon at their disposal heading into the Week 13 matchup against the Chiefs. Running back C.J. Anderson rushed for a career-high 167 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries in a close call victory against the Miami Dolphins last week. The Dolphins aren't exactly a pushover defensively, so there's a good chance Anderson's production is here to stay. While the passing game will always get most of the attention in the media, the Broncos haven't exactly locked up anything just yet, so a balanced attack might help them win more games and at the same time help owners of Anderson become the beneficiaries of added value.
Still, the offense will always run through future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning. After a tough outing against the St. Louis Rams in Week 11, Manning got back to his touchdown throwing ways last week, finding four of them to go with 257 passing yards. That's not bad considering he was facing a pretty good Miami secondary. He will be in tough against the Chiefs especially since the game is at Arrowhead Stadium, but as long as Peyton does what everyone has gotten used to seeing over the years, fantasy owners won't have to break a sweat in Week 13.
Kansas City Chiefs
As running back Jamaal Charles goes so goes the Chiefs offense. That explains why the Chiefs were upset last week at the hands of the Oakland Raiders. Charles carried the ball 19 times in the game and only rushed for 80 yards. As a fantasy owner who may be used to see him scoring on a regular basis and eclipsing the 100-yard mark it might be easy to get frustrated, but Charles' faced challenges with the weather as it was a rainy day in Oakland. He should be able to get back to his touchdowns scoring ways against the Broncos, even though his opponents are fairly good against limiting fantasy points at the running back position.
The only other potentially potent offensive weapon the Chiefs have is quarterback Alex Smith. Smith threw for 234 yards and two touchdowns last week against the Raiders. Although it wasn’t enough to win the game, the Broncos aren’t exactly scared to get into a shootout and gladly give up points to fantasy quarterbacks. That could mean an uncharacteristically impressive fantasy stat line for Smith. He could be one of the under the radar picks of the week this Sunday. Fantasy owners would be advised to start him especially in deeper leagues.
