Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd has been more of an afterthought in their offense. Floyd was able to pull off a two-touchdown performance in Week 11 but the other four games in the last five weeks have been absolutely brutal. The stretch includes two zero-catch finishes and a total of five receptions for 47 yards total in the other two games.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 13: Michael Floyd
The Cardinals wide receiver hasn’t put up the numbers he’s capable of. Can he step it up in Week 13?

Talent isn’t the problem for Floyd. He’s shown an ability to make plays when he gets the ball. The issues are targets and quarterback play. Head coach Bruce Arians has refused to get Floyd more involved for unknown reasons. Floyd is also being held back by the limited abilities of quarterback Drew Stanton. With both issues working against him, there’s not much to like about his fantasy potential. Arians did at least acknowledge the issue last week.
Fantasy Impact: Those thinking about rolling the dice with Floyd might not have a better chance than this week. The Cardinals take on the Atlanta Falcons, whose secondary allows the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Fantasy owners who have the roster talent to overcome a potential dud from Floyd can start him as a high-risk/high-reward WR4.
