Jordan Reed is officially active for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Reed was sidelined in Week 12 with a hamstring injury. Quarterback Colt McCoy will start over an ineffective Robert Griffin III, which could possibly be an upgrade for Reed at this point. When McCoy started Weeks 7 and 8, Reed caught a total of 12 passes for 94 yards.
Jordan Reed injury update: Washington TE will play, will be a risky TE1 for fantasy owners
Jordan Reed will suit up against the Indianapolis Colts Sunday. We take a look at what fantasy owners can expect.

Niles Paul figures to be part of game plan as Reed isn't likely to see a full snap count. Paul hasn't been much of a factor as a receiver since early in the season. Washington will likely be playing catch up with the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. They'll need Reed if they want to make a significant dent on the scoreboard.
Fantasy impact: Reed is a risky play for obvious reasons. Even if he’s close to 100 percent healthy, there’s a chance that Washington will limit his snap count. Even if that doesn’t happen, it’s a matter of seeing how effective he is on the field after recovering from his injury.
The upside is there of course. Reed is facing a Colts defense that is giving up a lot of production to opposing tight ends. If fantasy owners are dealing with injuries in Week 13, Reed is one of the better streaming options available as a low-end TE1 with a considerable ceiling.
