Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker hasn't been able to put up the numbers that we've all come to expect from him over the years. Through six games, Welker has only caught 22 passes for 212 yards and one touchdown. With Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders all in the mix and playing at high levels, quarterback Peyton Manning simply doesn't have to depend on Welker to move the chains the way that Tom Brady did. The result has been significantly fewer catches for the veteran. Welker set a career high with 10 touchdowns in his first season with the Broncos last year but won't come anywhere near that figure this year.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 10: Wes Welker a low-upside WR play
The Broncos wide receiver hasn’t been able to produce thus far. Can he step it up in Week 10?

Fantasy Impact: Welker has a surprisingly tough matchup this week in the Oakland Raiders. Their secondary actually gives up the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Without a high number of weekly targets, the possession receiver isn't going to be a difference-maker. He's a low-end WR3.
