Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams missed team practice on Wednesday, according to Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer. Williams is dealing with a hand injury, though the Panthers are calling him day-to-day with the issue. Williams is third on the Panthers with 63 carries for 219 yards and no touchdowns. He hasn't had a big game since Week 1 and his fractured hand certainly won't help his chances going forward.
DeAngelo Williams misses practice; Jonathan Stewart’s fantasy value rising
Williams missed practice with a hand injury on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

That said, Williams is still a factor in the running back rotation. That's got to be frustrating for Jonathan Stewart, who is playing very well. The Panthers have maintained a two-back system for years, for better or for worse, and will stick with it despite the fact that Williams looks as though he's hit a wall. Stewart had 20 carries for 155 yards and a touchdown against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Williams himself really doesn’t have any fantasy value at this point. The most pertinent fantasy information when it comes to Williams is simple: how does this affect Stewart? If Williams continues to miss time, it means Stewart’s value goes up, simple as that.
