San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates hasn't been able to keep up his rate of production. It's been a tale of two halves for Gates. Through the first eight games of the season, he hauled in nine touchdowns. Gates hasn't found the end zone since Week 8 and has only gone over 35 yards receiving once. He remains a solid security blanket for quarterback Philip Rivers but the 12-year veteran has lost a step and can't consistently make the plays that we've come to expect from him over the years.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 15: Antonio Gates
The Chargers veteran tight end has slowed the pace down. Is he worth the start in Week 15?

Fantasy Impact: Gates should have plenty of opportunities to rediscover his early-season form against the Denver Broncos. Their defense allows the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends and the 11th-fewest points to wide receivers. Gates is in line to see a healthy amount of targets but owners should should not expect more than low-end TE1 production. Ladarius Green has potential behind Gates but his fantasy breakout will have to wait at least one more year.
