After a season of basically nothing from top wide receivers Dwayne Bowe and Donnie Avery, the Kansas City Chiefs have increasingly turned to rookie Albert Wilson in recent weeks. He had his best career game Sunday in the Chiefs' 20-12 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The rookie has seen his looks increase the last three weeks. We break down the fantasy implications.

Wilson caught five passes on seven targets Sunday for 87 yards. That came after a three-catch, 69-yard Week 15 and a four-catch, 53-yard Week 14. With Avery sidelined, Wilson had the same number of targets Sunday as Jamaal Charles, De'Anthony Thomas and Travis Kelce, and only one fewer than Bowe.
Fantasy impact: For 2014, there is basically no fantasy impact. The Chiefs still haven’t got a single touchdown from a wide receiver all year, and Wilson hasn’t broken that streak. But going forward, with Bowe and Avery aging and disappointing, Wilson could be a reasonable dynasty option.
If you’re in a super-deep league, consider a flyer on Wilson. He might have a much bigger role in 2015.
