After coming into the season with a lot of hype and excitement, injuries and quarterback issues robbed Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron of any real success this season. He had only his second touchdown, and his second fantasy-helpful game, Sunday in the Browns' 17-13 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 17: Jordan Cameron has a big game
The tight end scored just his second touchdown of the season Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Cameron caught three of his five targets Sunday, going for 88 yards and a touchdown. The score accounted for the vast majority of his production, as it came on an 81-yard connection with backup quarterback Brian Hoyer early in the fourth quarter. Cameron had 102 yards and a score in Week 6, but otherwise has had an exceptionally quiet fantasy season, with only nine games played.
Fantasy impact: Cameron’s status has fallen far enough that he came into Sunday only 54 percent owned and 22 percent started in Yahoo! fantasy leagues. Given that so much of his production Sunday was on a single play, and he had two catches on four targets for 7 yards otherwise, that might have been the right decision.
Ultimately, Cameron will go into Week 17 as a high-risk, high-reward option, ranked in the mid-TE2’s. You probably have a better option.
