Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart was waiver-wire fodder in fantasy leagues just last month. Now, he's probably responsible for some fantasy championships thanks to a 129-yard, one-score game against the Cleveland Browns in Week 16.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 17: Jonathan Stewart
Jonathan Stewart should have plenty of carries going his way again. Should fantasy owners ride him while he’s hot?

This week, he gets another favorable matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are the second-easiest matchup for fantasy running backs. Stewart has rushed at least 20 times in each of his last three games, and he's likely looking at a similar workload as the Panthers fight to get into the playoffs. If they win, they will clinch the NFC South and enter as the fourth seed in the NFC despite a sub-.500 record, so they will be a team with something to play hard for.
Running back DeAngelo Williams is listed as probable, but there is a good chance he doesn't get many carries. Even if he does play, Stewart's carries should not be affected.
Fantasy impact: Everything is set up nicely for Stewart this week. He should be dialed in as a strong RB2.
