Mike Evans, Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson among fantasy names to watch in Lions-Buccaneers
We break down the Week 14 matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Detroit Lions.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may not be a big threat on the field as a team but they do have a big threat in the passing game and his name is Mike Evans. Evans got a dose of reality against the Cincinnati Bengals last week. He got just four passes for 49 yards. The game represented the first time in four weeks he did not score a touchdown. Evans will no doubt be in for a tough one against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, but the talent, skill and ability he's shown over the last month are obviously the real deal, so even if the game gets out of hand, he could find himself scoring again in Week 14.
Evans will be catching his passes from quarterback Josh McCown. McCown only threw for 190 yards and no touchdowns last week, so it's safe to say that neither he nor Mike Glennon is a week-to-week fantasy option. Trying to do anything against Detroit will be tough on any fantasy owner struggling for a quarterback at this point in the season and probably has to gamble on McCown anyway. If he does have a big day on Sunday, fantasy owners should consider themselves lucky.
Detroit Lions
After being held in check for two straight weeks by teams with stingy cornerbacks, wide receiver Calvin Johnson found himself open pretty frequently last week against the Chicago Bears. He caught 11 passes in the game for 146 yards and two touchdowns, helping fantasy owners in need of clinching a playoff spot do so in a big way. The Lions will no doubt wear down the Buccaneers as the game goes on this Sunday, which means that no matter who's lining up against Megatron, he should be in for another big day.
A big day for Johnson last week also meant a big day for quarterback Matthew Stafford, who threw for 390 passing yards and two scores, both of which of course went to Johnson. Tampa Bay has been pretty solid defending against quarterbacks over the last month, but Stafford can rack up the yards in a hurry, especially with one of his favorite target is back at full speed. Stafford could easily surpass his fantasy projections this week and make fantasy owners very happy.
