Giants-Titans fantasy projections, 2014: Odell Beckham Jr, Eli Manning, Zach Mettenberger worth watching
We break down the Week 14 matchup between the New York Giants and the Tennessee Titans.

New York Giants
Nobody needs a blog post or a news report to know that New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is a special player. He's proven that time and time again this season making spectacular catch after spectacular catch. Given that the Giants have trouble moving the ball with any other offensive weapon outside of Beckham and maybe running back Rashad Jennings, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the rookie pass catcher will be busy this week against the Titans. That's especially true considering how about Tennessee's secondary unit is.
At the same time, that porous secondary unit is also a reason why quarterback Eli Manning might actually be worth starting in fantasy lineups this week. Manning will have to bounce back, as his team lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars last week and he only threw one touchdown pass in the game. While nobody would confuse Manning with being part of the fantasy world's elite quarterbacks, he's a man with a lot of pride and that should work to the benefit of his owners this week.
Tennessee Titans
Rookie Zach Mettenberger (shoulder) is listed as questionable for the game against the Giants but he did practice on Thursday so it looks like he will start. Although he is a rookie and has had his share of ups and downs in limited action this season, this week could be one of the up weeks. The Giants' secondary doesn't scare anybody and Mettenberger has shown he can put up some decent yardage totals in the right conditions. Whether he beats his fantasy projections from week to week however is anybody's guess.
With Justin Hunter (ruptured spleen) on injured reserve, Mettenberger may be handing the ball off more on Sunday, which should benefit Bishop Sankey. He hasn’t rushed for more than 55 yards in a game in more than a month, but the Giants don’t defend well against the run and somebody has to keep the chains moving in Tennessee. He’s a talented young player and should be able to do a decent job this week, but much like Mettenberger, Sankey’s true value in terms of hitting his fantasy projection is difficult to predict.
