Olsen was held out of practice Wednesday due to a knee injury, but returned at a limited capacity Thursday and Friday. He is not expected to sit out, as the Panthers appear to be managing their veteran tight end’s reps after enduring a nasty hit a week prior. They will need all hands on deck to keep any hope alive for winning the NFC South crown.
Fantasy Spin: Fantasy owners can safely keep Olsen plugged into their lineups for Week 14. Because the tight end position is such a barren one, even at less than 100 percent, Olsen’s ability to find the end zone still makes him a decent play against a porous Saints defense. Olsen projects to be a mid-range TE1 as usual and can be started with confidence.
