Detroit Lions' running back Reggie Bush is active Sunday after missing the past three games and five of the past seven due to injury.
Reggie Bush injury update: Lions’ RB is active, remains risky play for fantasy owners
The Lions will get their speedy veteran into the backfield Sunday after a three-week absence. We break down the fantasy implications.

Reggie Bush is active
— Andrew Siciliano (@AndrewSiciliano) December 7, 2014 Bush had been nursing both ankle and back injuries of late, but got a vote of confidence from head coach Jim Caldwell Thursday and he will resume his normal backfield duties. The decision is warranted, based on Bush being able to return to practice at a full capacity for all of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Fantasy Spin: Though Bush will get the "start," it's far from a guarantee he will monopolize the backfield duties. It's a more likely scenario that he will be used in passing situations while Joique Bell maintains the between-the-tackles work and goal-line duties. With Theo Riddick also doing a fine job in Bush's usual role over the course of the season, it's fair to question if Bush will see enough touches to make him relevant in fantasy leagues.
Owners can feel encouraged by Bush’s health for this week, but his usage remains a big question mark and makes him nothing more than a desperation flex play in PPR leagues.
