Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater had some struggles early in his run as the team's starter -- he had one touchdown pass against five interceptions in his first three starts -- but he has shown some good progress in recent weeks. That continued Sunday, when Bridgewater had his second-highest passing yards total in the Vikings' 30-24 overtime win over the New York Jets.
Fantasy football waiver wire, Week 15: Teddy Bridgewater has productive day
The Minnesota quarterback had two long touchdown passes Sunday that boosted his value. We break down the fantasy implications.

Bridgewater completed 19 of 27 passes for 309 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. The two touchdown passes accounted for almost half of Bridgewater's total yardage. He hit Charles Johnson for a first-quarter 56-yarder and connected with Jarius Wright on an 87-yarder in overtime that ended the game.
Fantasy impact: Sunday’s game was good for 18 fantasy points for Bridgewater. That gives him an average of 17 points a game in his last three -- not great, but far better than his nine-point average in the five games before that.
Bridgewater is little more than a super-deep desperation play right now for fantasy, but he’s definitely shown enough for the Vikings to have optimism in him moving forward.
