Peyton Manning only attempted 20 passes on Sunday as the Broncos run game was emphasized in the game plan once again. He didn't take many shots downfield, leading to a bigger workload for Welker underneath.
Fantasy impact: Don't expect Welker to lead the team in this stat again. Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders put up duds for Week 14, so it was altogether an unexpected chain of events taking place in Denver.
C.J. Anderson is making a major impact in the run game. Now that the Broncos don't have to rely entirely on Manning's arm, the offense has been a bit more conservative at times. They led the Bills, 24-3, heading into the third quarter, so there was no reason to do anything but run the clock down. Welker is a complete dice roll week-to-week. This was his first game of the year with over 60 yards.
