Indianapolis Colts' wide receiver Donte Moncrief played in 50 of the team's offensive snaps in Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. He was the third receiver on the field, and he had more than double the snaps of Hakeem Nicks, the man who started the season well ahead of Moncrief on the depth chart. Nicks had just 18 snaps in the game, which is significant given that Andrew Luck attempted 53 passes on the day.

Moncrief is firmly entrenched as the No. 3 wide receiver for the Colts. Nicks hasn’t played well and it seems like the point in which he’s no longer in the NFL isn’t too far away. Moncrief, a rookie third-round pick, has been solid this year, but he’s only had four targets in each of his last three appearances despite his growing playing time. That’s disappointing, though he did catch three passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns against Washington in Week 13.
Fantasy Impact: His playing time is encouraging, and when it comes to deeper leagues with more than two receivers, fantasy owners really should own and start a guy like Moncrief. He could be a difference maker in the playoffs.
