Jacksonville Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart has been sidelined for the past week, but he's close to coming back. Gerhart told FOX Sports' Alex Marvez that he is returning to practice on Tuesday and hopes to get around 15 carries in Jacksonville's next preseason game.
Toby Gerhart returning to practice on Tuesday, hip injury not a fantasy concern
Toby Gerhart expects to be back at practice on Tuesday after battling a hip flexor injury for a week. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gerhart sat out practice last week with a hip flexor injury and missed Friday's preseason opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jacksonville signed him in free agency planning to make him the new lead back. He spent the previous four seasons backing up Adrian Peterson with the Minnesota Vikings.
Fantasy impact: As expected, Gerhart's injury was only a minor concern and he should be close to full strength for Week 1 of the regular season. Jordan Todman, Storm Johnson and Denard Robinson handled the backfield carries with Gerhart out, but Gerhart is expected to take on a bellcow role with the Jaguars breaking in rookie quarterback Blake Bortles. He could end up being a productive fantasy back on volume carries alone and can be had in the fourth or fifth round in standard drafts.
