Rob Gronkowski participates in 7-on-7 drills, making encouraging progress for fantasy owners
Gronk’s ACL recovery remains on track -- he took part in 7-on-7 drills on Monday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gronkowski is still not cleared for contact, and is unlikely to play in any preseason games, but he remains on track after tearing his ACL in Week 14 last season. His recovery has been going well so far -- Gronkowski avoided the PUP list and could be ready to play as soon as Week 1.
Fantasy impact: Barring any setbacks, Gronk should be ready to go for the regular season. Despite playing in just seven games last year, he showed off his old self when healthy, averaging 15.2 yards per catch and scoring a touchdown in four straight games. Gronk is a difference maker at an extremely thin position, making his third-round ADP almost a steal at this point. He is behind only Jimmy Graham in our tight end rankings.
