Ellington played with the first team in Arizona's first preseason game, getting two rushing attempts for seven yards before leaving the game. The Cardinals' starting offense played just one drive against the Houston Texans.
Fantasy impact: The Cardinals are simply keeping Ellington fresh for the real games next month. Barring injury, he should see a big increase from his 118 rushing attempts and 39 receptions last year. Ellington made a big impression as a rookie and has RB1 upside in his second season. Stepfan Taylor and Jonathan Dwyer are competing for backup duties.
