Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd had something of a breakout season in 2013, and could be set for bigger things in his third year. NFL writer Dan Pompei visited Arizona's training camp and says that people in the organization believe Floyd could become the new No. 1 receiver on the team.
Michael Floyd could be No. 1 WR in Arizona, set for big fantasy year
Michael Floyd is set for a potentially big leap in his third year and may even supplant Larry Fitzgerlad as the Cardinals’ top receiver. We break down the fantasy implications.

Larry Fitzgerald is still in town, of course, but Floyd is rapidly closing the gap on him. Last year, he put up 66 catches for 1,054 yards and five touchdowns while being the clear No. 2 receiver.
Fantasy impact: Fitzgerald is now on the wrong side of 30 and carries a pretty heavy cap hit, so this could very well be the year where the Cardinals anoint Floyd the new top dog at wideout. The sky is the limit in Bruce Arians' vertical passing offense, even with Carson Palmer getting a year older. Floyd is a rock-solid WR2 with WR1 upside in 2014. He is a must-own player in all fantasy formats.
