The rookie had a quiet debut last week and is looking to do more in Thursday’s preseason game against the Bears. We break down the fantasy implications.

However, his training camp hype hasn't translated to the preseason quite yet. In last week's opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Lee had a quiet debut, playing only 16 snaps and ending up with zero targets. After the game, head coach Gus Bradley expressed disappointment with Lee's effort, via the Florida Times-Union:
”I think that’s one of those things we’re looking at - it’s the consistency. Run your routes [like the football] is coming to you. You can’t change speeds. You can’t choose when and when not to. I’ve told you before that I’ve seen him switch to where he’s more focused.
“I’d like to visit with him about what happened [Friday]. He did play good, but he could have done some things even more precise. It wasn’t exactly where we need him to be.”
Fantasy impact: A second-round pick in May, Lee has the talent to succeed -- he was once regarded the best WR prospect in the country at USC -- but he’ll need to show more in the next three preseason games to truly earn a starting job out of the gate.
Lee has a good chance of being the Jaguars’ leading receiver this year, but that probably won’t translate to instant fantasy value with Jacksonville committing to a run-first offense and nurturing along Blake Bortles. Keep tabs on his snap counts for the rest of August -- he’s just a late-round flier right now.
