Beckham missed nearly all of training camp with a hamstring injury, an injury he has struggled with since spring workouts. He has been slow to recover and the Giants don’t appear to be in a rush to get him on the field. The hope is that he’ll be 100 percent in time for the regular season.
Fantasy impact: Beckham was one of the more heralded receivers in the 2014 NFL Draft class, but he missed a lot of valuable reps in camp, putting him behind the eight ball already. It could take him a while to get fully acclimated with the NFL and New York’s playbook. Beckham is shaping up as more of a long-term dynasty prospect than a 2014 fantasy asset.
