Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is recovering well from his broken foot and looks to get some game action soon. Jones is expecting to play in Saturday’s preseason game against the Houston Texans, if only to get in one series of work.
Julio Jones expects to play in 2nd preseason game, fantasy outlook getting better
Julio Jones is about 10 months removed from his foot injury and hopes to make his preseason debut on Saturday. We break down the fantasy implications.

It would be Jones’ first live-game action since he broke his foot in Week 5 last season. It’s the second injury on his foot, and he plans on wearing a special shoe this year to keep it protected.
Fantasy impact: The foot is obviously a concern heading into 2014, but Jones is a fantasy difference-maker when he’s on the field. Before the injury, he had 41 catches for 580 yards and two touchdowns in five games. Over a full season, those numbers project out to a monster 131/1,856/6 line. Jones’ second-round ADP could end up being a bargain -- he has the tools to be fantasy’s No. 1 receiver. Right now he checks in at No. 6 in SB Nation’s rankings.
