Chicago Bears tight end Zach Miller is expected to miss action due to ligament damage in his foot. Although X-Rays came back negative, he is expected to be out some time, according to a report by Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Zach Miller likely out some time, fantasy football changes mandatory
Chicago Bears tight end Zach Miller likely has some ligament damage in his foot and will miss some time. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Miller has been quite productive in the early preseason for the Bears, but even in the event he makes the Bears' roster coming out of the exhibition schedule, he'd be the secondary option at tight end behind Martellus Bennett.
In Miller’s stints with other NFL teams, he was never really a top tight end option and was more of a fantasy fill-in at the best of times. The fact that he’ll be going through some injury problems at this point pretty much takes him off most owners’ fantasy radars for now. Just keep in mind that if he makes the Bears’ 53-man roster to start the season, he’ll be someone to pick up should Bennett get injured.
