Fantasy Impact: There was never any doubt that the Bucs’ top option in the running game would be Martin, but the fact that team was counting on Sims to be a solid pass catcher out of the backfield means this injury is definitely a blow to Tampa Bay’s offense.
Now that Sims is going to be out quite a while, Bobby Rainey will be the guy that occasionally spells Martin. Make no mistake, though, Martin was used heavily before he suffered a season-ending torn labrum last year, so while Rainey did put together some explosive fantasy results last year, his ceiling will be limited as long as Martin stays healthy.
