Oakland Raiders wide receiver Denarius Moore was one of the most promising receivers in the league, but he's struggled more recently and hasn't been particularly impressive in training camp, either. When the Raiders released their depth chart prior to the first preseason game, Moore found himself below both James Jones, Rod Streater and Andre Holmes.
Denarius Moore a player to watch on Friday; fantasy value low for now
Oakland Raiders wide receiver Denarius Moore doesn’t have much fantasy value right now, but a good showing in the preseason could change things.

Moore has been a very good receiver at times, starting 35 of 41 NFL games he’s played. He started 10 games in 2013, and caught 46 passes for 695 yards and five touchdowns in 13 games last year. Moore has consistently been on the cusp of breaking out due to his big-play ability.
He has as much natural talent as any receiver in the league, but he might be playing for the benefit of another team right now, not the Raiders. There's no concrete rumors about a trade or anything like that, but if Moore finds himself being useful in the preseason (and the Raiders play the Detroit Lions on Friday), he could find himself starting somewhere else in 2013.
Fantasy Impact: As it stands right now, Moore should be avoided in fantasy football. A year ago, and the year before that, Moore was one of the best sleeper options we could recommend. But until he shows something in the preseason that gives us confidence Moore will either get significant playing time with the Raiders -- or traded to another team who will use him often -- we can’t give him that recommendation right now.
