Tennessee Titans running back Bishop Sankey has a chance to earn a big role in his rookie year, but ball security has been a stumbling block for him so far. He lost a fumble in Friday's preseason game and has reportedly had issues with exchanges in training camp.
Bishop Sankey struggling with ball security, possible fantasy concern
The rookie running back has had issues protecting the ball in training camp and preseason. We break down the fantasy implications.

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt defended Sankey, saying that he’s “not a fumbler” and the problems stem from his footwork and technique. A second-round pick out of the University of Washington, Sankey rushed for 1,870 yards in 2013, good enough for second in the Pac-12.
Fantasy impact: Ball security wasn’t a known concern for Sankey in the draft process, so his issues are worth keeping an eye on. Still, this shows that Sankey needs more seasoning at the NFL level. With Shonn Greene hobbled by a knee injury, Sankey can still emerge as the Titans’ starter. He has a chance to lead all rookie running backs in fantasy scoring, but owners should probably keep their expectations in check. Sankey has RB2 upside with a run-first offense and strong offensive line.
