Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith will be used much more in offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak's schemes, according to a report by Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun. Smith posted career highs with 65 receptions and 1,128 receiving yards last season, but found the end zone only four times.

Fantasy Impact: Given that Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco typically isn't drafted early in fantasy leagues and is far from an elite passer in fantasy leagues, that doesn't usually bode well for any receivers attached to him, including Smith.
However, Kubiak’s strategies are typically friendly to receivers with Smith’s ability, so he’ll see more action on shorter routes and be given more of an opportunity to gain yards after catches. That will lead to higher yard totals and more receptions for Smith in 2014.
Combine that with the fact that he’ll still have the speed necessary to run deep routes, and Smith should greatly improve on his touchdown total from last year too. He’ll make a great mid-round pick in fantasy drafts this season.
