Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson returned to practice on Monday. It's the first time in nearly a month he's been able to practice after missing most of training camp and preseason with a hamstring injury.
Steven Jackson returns to practice, remains a risky fantasy play
After missing most of training camp with a hamstring injury, Steven Jackson is finally back at practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jackson tweaked his hamstring early on in camp and the Falcons elected to give the veteran most of the month off. They expect him to be ready for the regular season opener. Jackson also struggled with injury last season, managing 543 rushing yards and seven total touchdowns in just 12 games.
Fantasy impact: Jackson has been a steady workhorse for most of his career, but age is catching up to him. Now 31 years old, he can't be counted on to stay healthy for any length of time. The Falcons seem to realize this, giving rookie Devonta Freeman plenty of looks in preseason. Jackson has low RB2 value even if he's healthy, and fantasy owners must handcuff him with Freeman if they decide to take the plunge.
