Seattle Seahawks running back Christine Michael suffered a slight hamstring injury and will not play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Oakland Raiders. Head coach Pete Carroll said that Michael pulled up in Tuesday's practice with the injury, but it's not believed to be serious. Michael is expected to be ready for next week's regular-season opener against the Green Bay Packers.
Christine Michael ruled out of preseason finale, remains fantasy hold
Michael pulled up in practice with a tweaked hamstring and will miss the preseason finale. We break down the fantasy implications.

A second-round pick out of Texas A&M in 2013, Michael saw limited action his rookie year, rushing just 18 times for 79 yards while being active in only three games.
Fantasy impact: Michael finishes the preseason with 89 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. He carries enormous fantasy upside, but it looks like he may not reach that potential in 2014. Marshawn Lynch remains the entrenched starter, and Robert Turbin is the better pass-catcher and blocker at this point. Michael is a coveted hold in keeper and dynasty leagues, but re-draft owners can probably move on. Turbin is looking like the top choice for Lynch's handcuff again.
