Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jarrett Boykin may be poised for a big season. Just a couple months ago, many thought Boykin could be passed up on the depth chart by rookie second-round pick Davante Adams, but Boykin has been impressive in training camp and the preseason.
Jarrett Boykin holding on to No. 3 job, could surprise in fantasy
Jarrett Boykin is the third receiver on the field for the Green Bay Packers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Head coach Mike McCarthy says Boykin has clearly "taken the next step," according to Bob McGinn of the Journal Sentinel. Boykin is currently the third receiver on the field, behind Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. He won't be taking any snaps from those guys, but Aaron Rodgers is a fan of spreading the ball around, and Boykin should be seeing the field plenty this season.
Fantasy Impact: Boykin wasn’t much of a fantasy option a couple months ago, but now he’s a guy to watch. He’s been taken late in fantasy drafts, and that’s about where fantasy owners should be considering him. You wouldn’t want to start him in every game, but he’s someone to pay attention to for bye weeks, in case of injury and so on.
