Cassel has started all three preseason games so far, with Bridgewater working with the second team. The Vikings have already stated that Cassel is the Week 1 starter, so this game will be more about what Bridgewater can do with more snaps. He has completed 26 of his 40 passes for 266 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions so far.
Fantasy impact: Bridgewater will likely only see playing time in the regular season if Cassel gets injured or starts to struggle. The rebuilding Vikings don’t seem to be in any rush to start their first-round rookie, though that can obviously change over the next several weeks. Fantasy owners can keep Bridgewater on the waiver wire for now, but he has good hold value in dynasty and keeper leagues.
