Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon finished his appeal hearing on Monday. No decision has been made on his future, and he's not expecting one for another one to three weeks. The appeal hearing lasted for several hours on Friday and ultimately continued on Monday.
Josh Gordon expecting decision in 1-3 weeks, fantasy players continue to wait
Gordon’s fate will not be decided for another few weeks. We break down the fantasy implications.

The NFL suspended Gordon for the entire 2014 season for a violation of the substance abuse policy. Gordon appealed the suspension, claiming that his exposure to marijuana was due to secondhand smoke. Gordon emerged as one of the most explosive receivers in football last year, reeling in 87 catches for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns. He led the league in receiving yards despite missing two games.
Fantasy impact: There is still an outside chance Gordon gets his suspension reduced or even overturned, but for now the waiting game continues. Keeper and dynasty league owners should consider holding on to him, but in redraft leagues he might not be worth a draft pick until we know for sure how much time he'll miss. The Browns could certainly use some good news -- Miles Austin and Andrew Hawkins are their top two receivers on the depth chart right now.
