Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins continues to build on a promising rookie year. The second-year wideout has reportedly "starred" in training camp. With Andre Johnson sidelined by a hamstring injury, Hopkins has been standing out in the No. 1 receiver role.
DeAndre Hopkins shining in training camp, has strong fantasy upside
DeAndre Hopkins has had an excellent camp so far and looks to take a leap in his second season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Head coach Bill O’Brien has been pleased with Hopkins’ progress over the summer, telling the Houston Chronicle, “He’s one of the guys out there that I think is much improved from April 7, when we started, to where we are now. ... He’s a guy that really, in our opinion, gets better and better every day. So just got to keep it going.”
A first-round pick out of Clemson in 2013, Hopkins reeled in 52 catches for 802 yards and two touchdowns in his first season.
Fantasy impact: Nearly all the pieces are in place for Hopkins to take a big leap in his second season. The one major concern is the quarterback position -- Ryan Fitzpatrick is the expected starter, which could limit Houston's offense across the board. Hopkins has legitimate WR1 upside and is a must-own Dynasty player, but he projects as more of an WR3 in 2014.
