San Francisco 49ers running back Marcus Lattimore continues to rehab from multiple injuries and doesn't appear close to playing yet. He will not play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Baltimore Ravens and there is no timetable for his return.
Marcus Lattimore still has no timetable to return, will not be fantasy-relevant in 2014
Lattimore remains on the PUP list and there is no rush to bring him back from injuries. We break down the fantasy implications.

Lattimore is currently on the active/PUP list. He shredded his knee in college and spent the 2013 season on injured reserve, but is now dealing with a hamstring injury. He worked out in the spring, but has yet to participate in training camp.
Fantasy impact: At this point, it's fair to wonder if Lattimore will see an NFL field again. He showed real promise at South Carolina and was drafted as an eventual replacement for Frank Gore, but Lattimore still isn't fully back from those devastating knee injuries. Fantasy owners can leave him on the waiver wire for a second straight season, and Dynasty players should only hold on to him in the deepest of leagues.
