Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White had his knee drained on Wednesday to help alleviate the effects of an injury he suffered in the spring, according to a report by Vaughn McClure. White is fully expected to start against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2.
Roddy White has knee drained, still poised for Week 2 fantasy start
The Falcons’ veteran receiver had his knee drained on Wednesday morning but will play as usual in Week 2. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: White's owners can breathe a sigh of relief on this one as the 33-year-old wide receiver doesn't appear to be in any danger of missing time. He caught 5 passes for 72 yards and his first touchdown of the season against the New Orleans Saints last week.
Given his advanced age and the fact that he has been an iron man of sorts throughout his career, White is definitely towards the sunset of his career. That said, he’s already off to a better start this year than last, given that he had to battle through a high ankle sprain in 2013.
With teammate Julio Jones healthy again and quarterback Matt Ryan set to have a bounce-back season, fantasy owners can go ahead and start White as usual moving forward.
