Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne is being asked to open up and make more aggressive throws down the field moving forward, according to a report by Ryan O'Halloran. Henne completed 24 passes for 266 yards and 2 touchdowns in the team's Week 1 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Chad Henne urged to take more shots down the field, fantasy value could pop
The Jags’ coaching staff want their veteran quarterback to throw deep more often moving forward. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Henne attempted 43 passes total in Sunday’s loss and only 4 of his attempts travelled more than 16 yards through the air. He completed a pair of passes that went over 20 yards in Sunday’s game, and those two completions alone accounted for 80 of Henne’s passing yards on the day.
The bottom line is that Henne is going to have to change his conservative ways if he hopes to remain the team's starting quarterback. If not, Blake Bortles will be more and more likely to take over. Bortles showed in the preseason that he's not afraid to go deep, completing 87.5% of his passes that went for more than 20 yards.
For now, fantasy owners can still consider Henne the go-to guy in Jacksonville, but its becoming quite clear he’ll have to change his ways if he wants to keep starting.
While neither quarterback is drastically going to change the fantasy landscape this year, a change in quarterback play could increase the value of receivers Cecil Shorts III, Allen Hurns, and Marqise Lee.
